USA news & politics

Gibson was born in New York? Sorry! We'll give that state to Canada (part of the Monarchy) and call it even. And they can rename Trump Tower and then demolish it live on TV.
We'll take it, use strumpet towers as a home and breeding centre for the Haggis with central park for their exercise

I don't believe anything that comes out of the Orange Blowhard's pie hole, no matter what the topic is.

Christnon a bike...

Thisnis exactly the problem im talking about, finding a situation with a thousand explanations and creating the most nefarious narrative imaginable to prove Trump bad lol.

Who's he playing with, what is he playing too, where's his original ball, why did the caddie not try to hide the drop, does Trump play off that ball, did he add it into his score as a drop, was the original out of bounds?

Looks to me like the caddy bent down to drop it at knee height, he bends over and looks for a spot, leans and drops, its a shoddy drop but if it was knee height can be considered legal.

There a load of reasons one would drop a ball, me and friends drop balls regularly, depending on the scenario, mostly because we are shite and hit out of bounds regularly hahaha

You're either really naive or a complete moron. I'm pretty sure it's the later. You just like to argue...that I know for sure by reading your dialogue with other posters. I recently took four weeks off the board and forgot all about your stupid game. But now I remember how insecure you are and won't forget again. So go ahead and take the last word, I know you really need it.

You got me, its the later hahahaha

I'd be a bit more detail oriented if I was being as insulting or arrogant as that.

But then id also address the comment, and not attack the commenter, im not sure why people feel the need to insult others on a forum, especially over the idea someone is cheating at golf hahaha

I agree with you but it doesn't help when every post you reply to includes "ha ha ha ha" in a mocking way (not necessarily this post I've quoted but others) or rating posts as funny when they are clearly not intended to be jokes. All these little things gets people's backs up and don't help to have constructive conversations.

They may not be intended as jokes, but they are funny!

But I'll take your point, I'll refrain from the laugh emoji when I find a comment hilariously funny, and be more empathetic...

I prefer a lol as I see that as a bit more jokey. But it’s hard conveying tone on internet. I’m sure a lot of the time you just find it funny and don’t necessarily mean it to **** people off, this is something that wouldn’t get lost over a pint in a pub but in internet it’s easy to misconstrue someone’s real intention.

Not specifically political, but has become so...

What are people's thoughts on this? I dont want to consider the hysterical 'OMG USA Naziism confirmed'.

Does American Eagle know what theyre doing? Is this a Dylan Mulveny style rage bait (not that that was intended that way possibly) or is this just blown out of proportion?

Better use it the laugh emoji is a start. You might also want to refrain from telling posters how they feel or calling them emotional, implying that their thinking is wild/bat **** crazy or advising them to take a breath. It just rubs people up the wrong way. I'm sure you don't like it when people try and tell you how you feel.

I think it’s all of those things. I think they know what they’re doing with that slogan but I also think, on some of the ones I’ve seen, it’s a bit of a storm in a tea cup.

What I do find funny is that I remember the right in America going mental about a Gillette advert that had the audacity to convey a message of not being misogynistic but now there’s no problems with this advert.

Telling posters to calm down, after they've thrown insults on an Internet forum with strangers is not the problem, to not be emotionally stable enough not to call names is absolutely the problem.

Don't you agree?

Of course firing insults at people is uncalled for but Ive seen you tell people to take a breath after non insulting posts. Also the insults are generally as a result of you rubbing people up the wrong way.
