<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>
Springbok veteran Percy Montgomery will start at fullback for the Vodacom Stormers in their Super 14 rugby match against the Blues at Newlands on Saturday.

Willem de Waal also will be making his first appearance this season, albeit on the substitutes' bench.

Montgomery replaces the injured Conrad Jantjes.

Kick-off is at 7.10pm.

Stormers:

Percy Montgomery; Tonderai Chavhanga, Gcobani Bobo, Jean De Villiers (capt), Sireli Naqelevuki; Peter Grant, Ricky Januarie; Luke Watson, Duane Vermeulen, Schalk Burger, Andries Bekker, Adriaan Fondse, Brian Mujati, Schalk Brits, JD Moller.

Replacements - Deon Fourie, Wicus Blaauw, AJ Venter, Francois Louw, Bolla Conradie, Nick Koster, Willem De Waal.[/b]

Great to see de Waal back in the 22 :bravo:

Lavea gets the Blues No.10 jersey against Stormers

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>
Blues coach Pat Lam has changed the player in the number 10 jersey again and this week has gone with Tasesa Lavea over Jimmy Gopperth.

Lavea was named at 10 for the Blues opening Super 14 match against the Force but was replaced halfway through the second half.

Former Hurricane Jimmy Gopperth was then named in the Blues starting line up last week when the Blues lost to the Bulls.

The Blues got smashed by a Bulls team that had suddenly found the form they showed in 2007 but Gopperth failed to make a real impression or stamp his authority on the game and was replaced by rookie Michael Hobbs.

Lam has been boosted by the availability of three star backs who have been on paternity leave in All Blacks Joe Rokocoko and Jerome Kaino and Taniela Moa.

Lam has gone with an all All Black front row having bumped Tony Woodcock back up to the starting line up after he had been named on the bench last week.

There is concern over Lock Kurtis Haiu as he suffered a head knock against the Bulls and he could be replaced by Chris Lowrey.

Blues :

15 Isaia Toeava, 14 Joe Rokocoko, 13 Anthony Tuitavake, 12 Jamie Helleur, 11 Paul Williams, 10 Tasesa Lavea, 9 Taniela Moa, 8 Jerome Kaino, 7 Josh Blackie, 6 Justin Collins, 5 Anthony Boric, 4 Kurtis Haiu/Chris Lowrey, 3 John Afoa, 2 Keven Mealamu ©, 1 Tony Woodcock.
Reserves: 16 Tom McCartney, 17 Tevita Mailau, Lowrey/Dean Budd, 18 Peter Saili, 19 Chris Smylie, 20 Michael Hobbs, 21 Winston Stanley.[/b]

Gonna be a very stronger Blues side then the one that got hammerd by the Bulls, but the Stormers should hopefully come out on top

This should be a great game of running rugby, game of the round imo. Really good to see Koster back in the mix, I was very impressed by him in the game against the Sharks. He showed some nice ball skills and buckets of composure. He blended right in eventhough he's 19 and it was his 1st pro game on the wing.

Try and a penalty by Paul Williams and a try by Ricky Januarie and penalty Peter Grant sees the game 8 all at half-time.

JDV made a great break but his pass got intercepted 5m from the Blues tryline  , the intercept king throws an intercept pass :p , I think he could have made it by himself if he just straighten and backed himself.

Stormers have done well so far to keep Rokocoko quiet, but then again the Blues have done the same with Chavhanga.Really close game this!

COME ON STORMERS!!!!

Percy played like a c*nt, Burger played like a c*nt, the whole bloody Stormers team played like a bunch C*NTS :wall: :wall: :wall: :%#%#: :%#%#: :%#%#: :rahh: :rahh: :rahh:

Too much useless kicking, tons of knock-ons! and no bloody direction to their play

Blues grinded out a great victory for themselves, well done to them :bravo:

Schalk Burger seriously needs to learn some ball skills. Shocking. He dropped everything he touched, and screwed up anything he was involved in. What the hell is wrong with Januarie doing those stupid kicks all the time? What an ass. Percy needs to quit now. You could see it in his play. It's over. Stormers are just not playing quality rugby. They seem to play as if they don't know what they are doing. The Springboks in the side really need to pull their weight. Seriously, if JDV was not in that team, i think they would finish stone last in this competition playing the way that they are. Horrific to watch.
