It's sad news to hear especially seeing as I'm a Wakey fan. He used to play Amatuer RL for a team not too far from where I live and I remember meeting him at somepoint. Very sad.

Local Leeds lad, used to play for Churwell as a lad, my thoughts are with his family at this time.

I've also been told a different version of events to what the RFL have published by someone at Wakefield Academy, trully horrific and a such a sad sad day to lose wonderful talent of the game.

That is some jinx on that club. Twice in 12 months.. this type of thing is common in places like Romanian soccer. The players train too hard in order to get out of the national league and every once in a while you hear of a player die because of an undetected heart condition, etc. But to have two players from different parts of the world both die in the same year whilst playing is unbelieveable.
