New Zealand have won the toss at Antigua for their first Super Eight game and chosen to field.

With Lou Vincent out of the tournament Hamish Marshall comes into the side and Peter Fulton will open the batting.

There's one change for the Windies with Lendl Simmons in for Jerome Taylor.

At the extreme risk of jinxing them, NZ 36-2 chasing only 178

You seem to have done alright, now 61-2.

Ah Styris! He's called a quick single only for Lara to direct hit and run out Fleming who was looking good... 77-3

Rain has stopped play but NZ well ahead of the rate on Duckworth Lewis, so looking good for the Black caps at this stage. 130-3

The covers only go on and they're already off, not much point in bringing them off really.

and the blackcaps win fairly convincingly in the end. bit of a shaky start in the batting but styris and fleming steadied the ship and then styris with support from mcMillian finished the job off.
