Hey guys, I have one Predator boot (dont remember the model) and its totally lost, everything stinking and no conditions to use, so I searched on internet and found my new babee, Adidas AdiZero RS7 Pro SG Rugby Boots Itense Green, the bad part is that is too much expansive, I can afford because it's my birthday february 28 and it's a good self gift hehe, but sounds sad pay 225U$ on a boot when the Predator Rugby X SG Rugby Boots is costing only 128U$.

So the question is:
Does AdiZero RS7 have that HUGE diference against others boots like Predator to cost 100U$ more? What should I do? :(

Please help me clearing my ideas.

Thank you everybody and sorry for my bad english, I did my best hahaha.

PS: Almost forgot, I play as wing.

In essence: No
The new AdiZero ones are supposed to be stupidly light and have all these space age fabrics and materials built into it, but they're going to be no better than a bog standard predator
in the long run
Boots don't make the player - the player makes the boots :p
Stick Johnny Wilkinson in some £10 Umbro football boots, he'll still kick 1,000,000 times better than I will in my predators
I read a review once where the reviewer tested his sprint times in some very expensive lightweight boots and in some cheap no-name boots, and the difference in times was so small that it's really not worth the extra money

I say get the predators, they look way better anyway :p

Hell yeah, exactly as I think, but the merchandising on AdiZero was so good, almost make my head. I'm gonna buy the Predator, I love the Blue + Black + White colour combination hehe.

Thank you :)

Hey watch it, I love my Specialis. They're as comfortable as Copas...yes Copas...they just aren't that durable.

Please don't purchase boots for the color pattern or because you were swayed by the marketing. Boot selection is a very important decision for serious athletes and many factors should be considered...COMFORT, durability, traction, etc. Seriously, check UMBRO out, there's some great deals right now.

Don't get me wrong, nothing against Umbro boots!
Switch out "umbro" for "no-name" :p
I just meant put him in cheapo boots, and he'll be better than me in my expensive ones

Don't worry haha, I had a predator boots and really loved it, very confortable and durable, It's not because of colors, if it was, I surely would not wanted to buy a AdiZero hhahaha. Umbro Is a good choice too I know, but i specially like Adidas, I never regretted when I bought anything from them and they give me confidence about the quality of the product.

No problem. Just kidding. I'm just a big Umbro advocate... underrated and extremely undermarketed outside of the UK. Of course, I've always preferred "classic" style boots like Umbro Specialis, Puma Kings or Copas over the more modern synthetic variations. True, they aren't great for rugby union scrummaging and traction does suffer a bit in wet conditions but high end classic boots are sooooo comfortable and versatile.
