So, what exactly do you grab hold of? (This is a serious question) Sometimes I see a player hand his shirt down for the guy behind to grab, other times it looks like they try to grab the inside leg of the shorts, but I can't help but think that on many occasions you get to know that front row better than their own wives do.

Depends on the prop, really. Waistband is pretty normal, shirt is too but I don't like it as much. Too loose. I had one guy who liked me to reach across and grab his pocket. That worked quite well.

Yeah his shorts had pockets, so my arm would go around the front of his leg and I'd hook my fingers into the pocket that was right be side my head.
