What's the weather like where you are?

Do you put socks on his/her paws in hot weather? Must be hell for their paw pads walking on hot pavements.
Actually you're right,it should be a real mare for their paws...I was jumping today barefoot on a hot sand on the beach like a mountain deer,so can imagine how it feels for poor dogs

I'm lucky where I live It's all country side so can keep him off tarmac.

Still I avoid taking him out if over 20 degrees, he'll run himself ragged even in 32 degree heat if I let him.

Boots are definitely no. Just because he's weird about having his paws touched. I've never met a border collie that wasn't a bit weird tbh.

Freaking Ants everywhere!
You'll never believe but that's what I just was saying in Germany, we made a stop and those ants were everywhere there 🤣
Also, I've been to Milan last two days and today was travelling from Milan to Zurich and we made a stop in high mountains to see the melting glacier with an ice cave ,so my weather was changing during those couple of days: + 26/28° C and sun, then 18°C with rain, then +9°C and +6° with clouds (in mountains), don't know how exactly but even colder inside of ice cave, and finally +22° in Zurich... can't believe I survived 🥵🥶😱now it's comfortable+17°C in Germany but I'm already scared to see the weather tomorrow in Poland

It's comfortably warm but not hot in Warsaw 😍
Be careful with air conditioning though, I fell ill after visiting office where someone turn on air conditioning on full (also was drinking ice cocktails and singing karaoke on a party the same evening but I doubt it damaged my health 😜 )

This headline made me laugh a bit, the fact that it made the front page of the BBC website.

During the Great Storm of 87, nearly everyone shared accomodation with a tree. We were lucky that the 300 ft redwoods by the house that were ten ft thick survived unscathed, but other trees Round our property were destroyed including a pine tree that fell exactly parallel with the house.

Took us three days before we were able to drive out the gate
