Can't help but noticing that London Irish (Championship) put 44 points past Stade Francais on the weekend.

A Tier 2 English side, lest we forget, spanking what was one of the top European Rugby sides.

I'm also told (unofficially) that the good times and also le dosh has dried up there.

A sign of things to come for a few clubs on British soil maybe?

Quite right, my apologies, they are in the Premiership.

Point is that Stade Francais were pummelled by London Irish, not long after being one of the top teams in European Rugby. They were cash rich but rumours are that the money has run out?

It's terrible what age and too much money can do to some foreigners who clearly got off the wrong plane. Altrad at Montpellier, Lorenzetti at Racing, Hans Watever in SF. They'll prob get a new stadium and more goodies out of him...might as well..

I think this Capri Sun guy just loves the game and wants to make Germany a force and maybe wants some of that nice French side action.

Interesting, as many on here will no doubt recall that he was linked with a takeover of Gloucester not so long ago. Apparently, it was Bath's money man whose complaint resonated the loudest, therefore no deal at Castle Grim.

If things are good at SF then great - a few people have mentioned that London Irish are not the whipping boys of recent seasons, so maybe I misjudged a heavy loss for SF.
