Hi everyone,

I am new to Rugby and love the game! I am looking for some good Rugby websites where I can follow different league. I found some like espnscrum.com, http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/ and planetrugby.com.
Could you suggest some good websites where you follow Rugby Union matches??

Thanks
Karan

All Italian Rugby (in Italian of course) - http://www.federugby.it/index.php

That lot should keep you going for a while

Twitter's the bst, just follow any relevant rugby sources, appopriate for the league you want to keep tabs on.

ESPN Scrum has its moments. Usually covers all major comment. Also, the lack of a forum means that you'll have to come here to complain, which is good.

Dont touch yahoo eurosports. Used to be good for some discussion, but far too many 'cellar dwellers' on there now, posting from their parents basement.

Planet Rugby and Scrum are the two best, in my opinion. I then come here for the debate. Of course I also use my local news sources for NZ news...

During the season, every match (even the non-televised ones) played in the Premiership is put up to watch on the Aviva Premiership website (the one provided by smartcooky). They are put up later on in the day that the game is played, or in the morning of the day after. Very good way of following Premiership rugby.

Pretty much. Also you can stalk Cai Griffiths.

Anyone know his twitter?

Oh wait, he had this fupping shirt made:

It's always advisable to have the correct gear though. A good 'fupping' shirt can come in handy when out fupping. Fupping whilst in non-fupping-authorised shirt, can result in a fine from 'Elf'n'Safety'.

I personally don't like to use twitter for rugby news because they often cause a flood of live updates, making it difficult to follow anything else. It's the best place to get a feel for the general public's opinions and reactions, though.

Conversley, it makes it hard to miss when something happens. I was stuck in a random lecture hall in London last month trying to follow the second Lions test through Twitter. I couldn't've done it if I only followed one rugby updates account. Every second I got through following way too many people. Useful. Also allows a kind-of accompaniment to watching, which I enjoy. Seeing opinions, etc.
