Wireless Xbox Controller? success or failure??

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows the behind the scenes on where you can change control assignment.

I have set up an xbox controller and the buttons are so awkwardly placed that its impossible to sprint and do anything at the same time!!!

any ideas!!!!??
