Wing - Centre - Fullback

Clubs:

Montauban

Stade Toulousain 1994 - 2007

Aviron Bayonnais 2007 -

32 international caps (7 tries)

Prize list:

- Junior World Champion, 1995.

- Bouclier de Brennus, 1999, 2001.

- Rugby World Cup finalist, 1999

(he was France's fullback in the legendary semi final, and in final)

- Heineken Cup, 2003, 2005.

- Grand Slam winner, 1998, 2002

- Best try scorer for French Championship, 2001, 2002, 2003

Beautiful player, in the tradition of 'French Flair', but so unlucky... a bit like another great toulousain, Thomas Castaignède. He was cursed by injuries all along his career... I remember he missed RWC 2003 because of that. He played only a handful of game with Bayonne, his last one was last year against Toulouse at Ernest Wallon when he scored a symbolic try against his old team.

after RCW 99 Final...

Worst 'tackle' I've ever seen - Garbajosa on Lomu, '99 RWC semi-final.

Haha! Trust an Englishman to upset the tribute.

Yeah, good memories of Garba. Pity he didn't play more.
