Forum Terms & Laws
1. Welcome to The Rugby Forum. The Rugby Forum is here for you to talk about everything rugby, Union and League related. We have several sections for off topic discussion as well as other sports. Please feel free to get involved and post. There is no clique and we want to see you, new members getting involved as soon as possible.

2. If you like The Rugby Forum, then tell your friends. If you DON'T like The Rugby Forum, speak to any member of staff who will happily and quickly resolve any issue for you.

3. Please do as staff ask. They are here to help and to ensure that The Rugby Forum moves along smoothly.

4. Please limit all signature sizes to 450x300px. If your Signature breaks this it will be removed by a member of staff.

5, We do not tolerate advertising on the Rugby Forum, if you wish to advertise your site then please contact a Getofmeland or St Helens RLFC

6. If you have an issue with a fellow member, please resolve it with the means of the Personal Messaging system or MSN. Just don't clog the forum up with it. If this is seen both parties will be warned and the posts deleted

7. If you want to set up an alias, fine. Just make sure it's funny.

8. All ideas are welcomed, so please don't keep them to yourself. If you have an idea either send a personal message to a staff member, or post it up in the Forum Feedback section.

9. Signed up for the computer games section? Please don't forget that we have an extensive rugby section. And if you've signed up for the rugby section, please don't forget that we have an extensive rugby gaming section, with EA, SIDHE and Swordfish exclusives.

10. Please do not post porn or images likely to corrupt public morals. Please do not put these in signatures or avatars either, just get a life instead.

11. Please do not use "txt-spk" when making posts. It makes it easier to read for all members, so let's maintain the standard. Plus, you don't have a character limit here like you do on a mobile phone, so it's not necessary

12. Please do not discuss illegal downloading sites, if these are discussed the post will be deleted then the member warned.

13. Racism or any form of discrimination will NOT be tolerated on The Rugby Forum. We will not hesitate to warn, ban and report to the authorities anyone who partakes in this en masse.

14. The Rugby Forum is meant to be fun, so have fun! By all means have a very detailed, in depth discussion, but do not insult fellow members or shout them down because they have a different view from you. Respect everybody's opinion.

15. The reputation system is there to reward or punish members. If you would like to make a complaint about feedback left for you, contact a staff member and it will be investigated. Abuse of the rep system will result in a members ability to give rep (positive or negative) revoked.

16. The Rugby Forum is primarily an English Speaking Forum, if you do wish to post in another language please visit the International Forum, where you are able to talk in any language you wish, as long as the language is indicated so that it can be translated by staff members and moderated correctly.

17. Spamming will not be accepted on this forum, we have imposed the post limit to be able to read the rugby gaming section for a reason, if you spam to get your way into this you will be warned and ALL your posts will be removed, if you continue a ban will be imposed on your account. This will initially be a ban on your account but if after that ban is up you continue will use an IP Ban.

18. The management team of TRF accept no responsibility for the members of our board off our board. If someone advertises the forum, please don't complain to us, because we have no control over it.

19. The Decision of the management and its staff is final, please respect this.

Getofmeland's Charity Cycle Ride!

Hello All

As some of you may know I am training to do a 60 Mile Charity Cycle Ride on the 6th July 2008. This is one of the goals I have recently set myself due to my lack of fitness (note Millenium Magic, and World Cup Meetups, with sweat pouring off me after 5 mins). Also majority of you know I do a job which is mainly sitting on my fat arse for 12 hours a day, and then coming home to sit on another computer, and watching crappy TV...

Considering how close I am to the event, I have only just really started to train for this event.. by cycling to the pub and then maybe onto another pub and another pub...

TRF Radio

As part of what is going to be a huge revamp of TRF in the coming weeks and months, I am excited to reveal our latest scheme, TRF Radio!

Hosted by yours truly, TRF Radio is going to be a weekly radio show that will take in the week's rugby news from both codes. I am looking for a wide range of guests from all over the world. I will try and accomodate everyone's timezones but obviously this might not always be possible.

Introduction and Personal Happenings

While we all enjoy the Off Topic board very much, some things shouldn't be right next to a story about a chicken that could skydive while singing Poison by Alice Cooper (just giving an example, plus rep to anyone who finds such a story online!), or one about a woman stuck in the bathroom.

Sometimes you want to share something that happened to you, just cause you're feeling happy about it, like becoming a father for the first time, getting a job, getting married, ...
Things that are a bit too serious to go in Off Topic.

From now on you can post topics like that in 'Introduction and Personal Happenings'!
This board is for or all sort of miscellaneaous stories about you or people aroujnd you that don't quite fit in Off Topic. Of couirse you can continue introducing yourself here if you're new.
I already moved a few topics that go better in IPH then in Off Topic.
If you can come up with a new, less corny-sounding name for the board, by all means, let us know.
