Got quite a few that I listen to each week, my favourite being the molecast.

Anyone recommend others?

Depends what you like, but I know of a few. Don't always listen to them, but for welsh rugby:

WRAP - Welsh Rugby Appreciation Podcast
The above have a podcast each for the different clubs (Dragons, Scarlets, Cardiff and Ospreys)
The Welsh Rugby Podcast
Attacking Scum
Scrum V

I like egg chasers, good lads who mostly provide a good take on rugby and what’s gone on.

The rugby pod has some very good insights but also some insufferable ’banter’ and can be very annoying. Also Jim H comes across like he knows nothing about rugby at times where as Goode seems to know a fair bit.

There is also the good, the bad, the rugby which I mostly find to be garbage. Only listen to that if I’m on a very long drive and I’ve finished all my favourite medieval history podcasts.

Okay. I'm curious and need a listen. What's hot in medieval history podcasts?

Closest I've come was coming across an audiobook called Unruly, written and read by David Mitchell (yes, that one). Was pretty enjoyable.
Gone medieval by history hit. Some really good ones in there. I can’t get enough history these days when driving.

I've listened to rugby podcasts less and less
I kinda wish a top player would do one and the same way Lebron has done his podcast Mind the Game (Now with Steve Nash).
I like looking at some clips from them, For the love of the game is decent I feel.

I love listening to podcast though but I yeah IDK rugby podcasts are either too critical (for the love of the game, proceeds to moan for an hour about the game), too for the lads or too journalist with too high an opinion of their view for me.

I have been enjoying some more YouTube rugby content that is starting to get better and better produce

Wish more teams would do stuff like this

I mainly listen to cycling podcasts.

No one has produced a rugby podcast yet that both likes the game and is able to make fun of the absurd parts of the sport. Everything is so serious.

There's also You're dead to me.

There's a South African one called Boks Office which I've listened to a couple of times, that seems alright. They don't just talk about SA rugby.

For the last couple of weeks has anyone else noticed that on the eggchasers podcast there seems to be some real friction between Tim and JB which seems to stem on two extreme views on rugby. One which is based on heavy criticism and glass half empty and the other side being overly positive and glass always overflowing.

It’s an interesting dynamic but quite revealing on how rugby is splitting itself in two with the changes of competitions, new law changes, new love in for SA rugby all of a sudden.

I didn't listen because they have repeatedly admitted to disliking Bristol and have said some crap things about the club and city, but...

The SA love in is a blatant attempt to cash in clicks from the strong online presence of the SA rugby community. I fully expect Tim was only offering an apology as he's had a hit to subs to the pod and various YouTube channels, including FRUK Rugby. Surprised he still has a job with ProD2 after gleefully joining in with JB last week.

There are much better pods and channels out there to invest your time in.

JBs rant and dislike for Moyne is very over the top although not sure I heard anything racist or misogynistic but then maybe anything said against Moyne is racist (as that’s the world we live in) or maybe I missed it as a tend to ignore a lot of his rants.

Not sure about the much better pods though? What ones do you listen to?

I would say racially profiling Ugo as a gangster because he's black and wears a hoodie to avoid police identification and saying stuff like women are more comfortable around whites is pretty obvious?

As for what pods I listen to most regularly; Maul or Nothing (featuring Ryan Wilson and Max Lahiff) and Bristol's fan pod Bears Beyond the Gate. Other pods I listen to (non-rugby) are Kermode and Mayo's Take and The Sceptic's Guide to the Universe.

JB is a *** at times. I do think Tim regrets it i don't think he's a bad guy.

I like The Ruck as pretty decent.

The Offload with Tommy Bowe and Donncha O'callaghan is fast becoming a fave. Mainly URC content but very funny and more about there experiences as pro's

That seemed to stem from Ugo's rant about the abusive Exeter fan and the fact Ugo claimed no one spoke up, it turned out to not be an Exeter fan, and according to lots of eye witnesses, loads of people spoke out.

Some of them are rendered unlistenable because the sound quality is awful. I managed 10 minutes of this weeks with JB and Phil echoing around and sometimes being barely audible. After all these years JB still seems to be unaware that he needs to maintain a certain quality for people to listen.

See I don’t remember hearing that on the pod but then I do zone out on his rants. I know the hoodie thing was all about Moyne saying men were intimidating and JB did mention something about dressing better then. Didn’t hear anything about skin colour being mentioned though.

Unless you are 100% sure he said those things I wouldn’t be repeating them as in all cases like this the victim card is always heavily played when in reality Moyne has shown himself to be a massive dick an JB whilst also shown to have some stupid (quite extreme views) deserves to be taken at what he said not how the media spin it.

I’m slowly going off egg chasers though as Tim’s hard on for everyone non English and R360 love in is stupid and just for fans and likes. Might go back to just listening to podcasts about the medieval times as all the rugby ones are just a bit crap.
