Not sure if this is legit or not but I’ve seen this???

It’s showing as the new 2024 Australia tour shirt but that’s a very dark red. Not sure I like it, but then not sure I don’t like it.

Quite like the shirt design, although not the sponsor’s logo.

Lions is about as high profile as it gets so it felt a bit odd having to google who the shirt sponsors are. When I first saw it I thought it was the joinery lot. Not exactly the immediate brand recognition that the likes of Vodafone and HSBC had in the past.

Hadn’t previously paid any attention to this, but while Howden have the shirt the title partner for the whole thing is Qatar Airways which won’t play well with some.

Prefer the gym shirts at £35, even the training tops are over £80 .....

Like this one a lot, though will wait for them to be 75% in Sportsdirect before getting one

As above: The sponsor logo is dreadful, how has that gone through multiple layers of design and approval at whatever company that is

I just noticed that the cheaper ‘classic’ lions shirt has an embroidered logo on and the more expensive shirt has one of those rubbish stickers as the logo.

I’ve not had a top with the sticker type logo to know how they wear over time but I thought it would be the other way round.

I just bought the navy blue training top, the material is good quality but was annoyed to see the Lions badge as a sticker. Even the Canterbury motif is a sticker. At £80 I'm a bit ****** off at this. Every other Lions top I had always had the embroidered badge.

It's the little things that count and can annoy you.

probably the best thread for these

First Nations and Pacifika Jersey - Awesome, would love more harlequin esk jerseys

and the ANZAC Jersey - I like it but definitely seen more hate than love on line

What's with the fingerprint logo on the first shirt.

Needs more black to be the Anzac shirt.
thats what people are saying...but i feel it is for the Australian lion tour....and is a remake of the last AUNZ team jersey....so i get it

some of the other comments -

"looks south african"...other than the fact RSA jerseys are green
"Badge should say ANZAC"...except not being the Army Corps

question for NH people...is there much complaint about the lions jersey being Red and not representing Ireland, scoland and very little of england?

the way i look at it, the AB's represent my club/provincial teams....i dont demand the AB jersey have Blue and Gold even though Dunedin RUFC, Otago and the Highlanders all have Blue and Gold

I’ve never even thought of that being an issue with the red lions shirt even when Gatland was terribly Welsh bias.

I personally like the fact it’s red as it means I get to wear something different. As the England kit or white (and I’ve got a lot of England shirts), if the lions was white as well I’d be bored or maybe no but as many lions shirts as I have over the years.

You get the odd newcomer to rugby who queries it; but no, it's never been an issue.

It's the B&I Lions shirt; not an amalgamation, and not trying to be an amalgamation. The Lions shirt has been red with white bits since 1888! (thanks LeChat)
You'll notice that it's not the same shade of red as Wales use - so it's not representing Wales in its colours either.

Equally, the England shirt doesn't contain Blue, Black, Cherry, Green, Gold etc to represent the clubs that make up the England team; Barbarians shirt doesn't contain... every colour under the sun, to represent every nation that's every been represented in the BaaBaa.s

thats kind of what i was thinking, its something different, i would like it to be a more regular thing when touring NZ and AUS, the lions play a one off combined team, as a kiwi in Aussie id be more likely to go watch that then the tests

but make it its own thing closer to the Lions than the the BaaBaas and it just happens to have black, gold, green and white stripes on its jersey

@AlRums sorry i missed your question

The Fingerprint is the logo theyve come up with the for the First Nations and Pasifika XV, cant find much info but it looks like the left hand side is a version of traditional aboriginal art style and the right version of art you might find through the pacific, im assuming the fingerprint represents "identity" of a sort, finger print is unique to a person like these cultures are unique and important to the players?
