I remember seeing mention of it over the summer - think the late callup combined with not meeting the minutes threshold meant he had a similar stand down to the England players

Vaguely remember talk about how little he played for racing playing a part in it too

Tomas Williams playing for Gloucester with a similar minutes-not-met-threshold too

Yikes that feels a pretty big injury list although I’ve not seen or looked at others so maybes it’s not.

Shameful from Loader getting outworked and outpaced by his tighthead lock on a kick chase

They're gonna beast him in training on Monday

Battle of the breakdown is very good

Really liked Gloucester's counterruck earlier where they essentially made a three man scrum and charged over the top

I've listened to the explanation as to why the Sale try wasn't a knock on, but that seems like utter tosh to me. You see those given as knock-ons all the time.

Also, didn't they change the batteries in the ref coms before the start of the season?

TJ thought it was a knock on, all the Sale players thought it was a knock on, Ridley saw it differently.

Is there a prize for the first referee-bashing of the season..?

Amount of them that I see that I think the same as the ref said...but it's never ever been ref'd that way. And that's what bothers me.

Was not expecting a BP win after that first....70mins

A lot to like in a number of individual performances but gameplan and accuracy (for the most part) not great - maybe to be expected with a new HC and AC

@SaleSharksRugby 27 - 10 @gloucesterrugby

NO Scorigami

This is the 7th instance of this score.

First Game - 4/5/98 Newcastle 27-10 Leicester
Last Game - 3/12/21 Gloucester 27-10 Bristol

Very enjoyable match, if not the best quality. It's been far too long.

Trying to figure out if the scoreline was flattering to Sale in the end or perfectly fitting. Gloucester were better than the result suggests with some spectacular defence but falling short at crucial moments. Subbing Tomos and the knocks to Clement and Gotovtsev whilst Sale came out firing after half time seemed to turn it. Byrne impressive.

Sale a well coached machine, they'll be up there come the end of the season. Congratulations on getting the first dub of the season.

What was Jarrods try like?
He dropped the ball repeatedly, but somehow it went backwards, then his shorts fell down and he loudly pooed himself in front of the whole stadium - while the Bath players were laughing he tripped over his own feet and landed on top of the ball, which had been blown over the tryline by a strong breeze

(He hasn't scored, Will Evans got both)
