Inspired by this thread: http://www.therugbyforum.com/threads/33774-Worst-rugby-merchandise and my sister's recent trip to New Zealand, I decided to start a positive thread on what's out there for fans of the greatest sport on earth!

This is my All Blacks booty! (My apologies for the crap-phone picture)


My sister brought back for me a scarf, a tea towel, a bumper sticker, a magnet, two pins, a mini rugby ball, and the bestest of all - a bear that chants the haka! Woo! She said that during their travels when her suitcase would get pushed or bumped the haka bear would start chanting inside - both embarrassing and funny at the same time. :)

I added her gifts to things I already had - the travel mug, can cozy, and decal. Not shown is my ABs jersey - I forgot to put it in the shot. Needless to say I'm in ABs heaven, and I happier than a fat li'l piggy in a muddy-mud puddle. :)

lol uhm das, the All-Blacks aren't a basketball team !

hahaha, that's pretty hilarious !! Can totally picture the situation. Got to keep a straight face every time and stare into one angle and not move at all. :ph34r:

The only Rugby merch I've got is this tiny ball, found it in some store in Feb. 2010 in Qatar lol:

It's quite a valuable little thing, as it's a token of the last Grand Slam France will ever get.

Awww! Adorable! :) I have a regulation size ball somewhere, but - unlike you and me - it's lost all its hot air. :D

ho ho ! Well I prefer hot air over goin' cold turkey !!.................hmmm, that doesn't make sense...

So let's see if anybody's got more crappy merch like mine that they want to share here...doesn't seem like it. TRFians are usually shy little creatures..I sort of have this idea in my head that whenever a thread gets too personal or silly, TRF posters are gathering around and just stare like when you're in the sea and all the fish start surrounding you :D

I'll see if I can find it (it's packed away somewhere, maybe at my parent's house as I had it when I was... 13, man that's almost 20 years ago!!) and anyone interested in any of it can have it. Just PM me. It's not in the best shape but I have a large 1995 RWC banner that they flew at the Cape Town airport as well as rugby balls signed by the full teams of.. I know one was the Pumas, the other was Canada. Le XV de France is on on of them. I remember Thierry Lacroix of all people LOL. There was another but I suspect the old neighbor's boy has it now. Anyway, like I said, sadly the signatures are very faded (hey, you shouldn't expect too much from a 13 year old kid!) and the balls aren't the official 1995 balls. Anyone able to pick them up or able to arrange something are welcome to it as it's not being used but maybe wait till I find them and load photo's.

Nah, that'd mean I'd have to register as a seller, register a Paypal account or some such. Nah, I much prefer just gifting, plain and simple.
