Some great stuff from Glaws. Thorley’s second try, brilliantly created by Morgan, was sensational.

Unbelievably good that try. Some bloody good performances in there from Glos. One thing that surprises me, I would certainly have Vellacott over Braley.

Yep. Brilliant try by Thorley, but as you say, some excellent work in the build-up by Morgan. Good footwork, good acceleration and a good example of how to draw a defender and put a player in to space with a good pass. Someone tell Eddie Jones that being a Number 8 isn’t just about heavy carrying.

Unfortunately Leicester's defensive frailties shown up again. Even with missing players I still can't see Leicester making top 4 and quite possibly not even top 6.

Shocking first half from Sale cost us,
Lost a sin bin period 14-3

Much better 2nd half but playing catch up and then some bone headed decisions in the last 5 left us with too much to do.

Saracens defence is other worldly, especially considering they've 25 men unavailable

Oddly nervous for Chiefs, we are missing quite a few players through internationals and injury and bristol have some quality to there team.

Missng our first choice 1-5,8,11,13 and 14, yes we have simr good replacments especially in the back 3 but still its a second pack pretty much.

Damn my worries were well founded, controversy over the penatly try but it stands and great effort from both teams.

Good to see Lawday step up with Simmonds out and good to see Devoto returning.

Piatau returning is a big boost for bristol but even without his shift bristol performed well today and had they won would it would have been deserved.

Early days but Exeter and Sarries will be 1 and 2 which order who knows.
Gloucester won't be relegated.
Everything else up for grabs.
Thoughts.

You couldn't call who's going to go down as you'd assume Newcastle are going to perk up, so there's going to be a lot of interesting games coming up between now and end of the season. ALL of which wouldn't matter tuppence if it was ring fenced.

Gloucester could be a good bet against exeter next week. Scrum looked under powered today.

Gloucester are a worry, and are in great form aswell and with us having our first choice 1 - 5 out the pack is under powered. Luckily Ewers played for the braves yesterday so he should be back, should add some power to the pack. Should be a good game.

There's a whole lot of tier 1 internationals left in the Exeter squad to be complaining too much about missing first choice players.

I dont think he was complaining , just stating things as they are.

Bristol were probably more weakened by their international call ups and injuries as there is undoubtedly much less depth.

Need to watch those final minutes on TV but distinct feeling all over Ashton Gate that officials got some things horribly wrong. Guess Exe fans do too as they saw fit to give me the big one from the safety of their car whilst I was walking. If it turns out we have been badly done to yet again this season something has to be done, hopefully Pat will pursue matters again if needs be.
