[RWC2019][Semi-Final 1] England vs. New Zealand (26/10/2019)

It worries me, but maybe that's the France rugby, and England cricket fan in me. I've seen far too many world class performances followed up by a dispirited schoolboy effort
England may not win next week but if they don’t, I doubt it’ll be because they celebrated this win too hard or thought the job was done.

As you were I think. Depending on injuries obviously.
Thats my thought to but my head says fresh players different but still very physical and gives lawes and underhill chance to have an impact.

But on the other hand 80 min is all they need in them legs burning hearts racing they will push. And should it go to extra time(god forbid) fresh players is what we need.

For me the key is that England never panicked and kept their defensive line even when NZ did get past them. NZ weren't awful, but England never gave the easy possession even after a line break and it looked then like NZ didn't know what to do.
This is the key, having sufficient cover defence and challenging us when we would otherwise be looking for momentum. That’s the curry undies way

Congrats England, above all the better side won

F u c k I’m gutted...truely gutted...was the cricket World Cup not enough for you, can’t give us anything?

we were completely smothered, hope you haven’t left it all on that pitch because you’ve got to do it again next week

not sure I saw more than a few seconds of good play from the ABs, we just weren’t given more than a few seconds before an English player arrived, almost faultless from England, one lucky try for us

I think the first disallowed try was fair enough, you run behind someone drawing a tackle and you’re always taking a risk...second one...I don’t get...should have been play on for me ...that and our lucky try, 14 point bigger gap would have been justified

I was going to do a bit of analysis and then decided I a) can’t be arsed b) it’s still 2.30 a pint here and c) **** off everyone else England are going to sodding win the world cup

We won't be the only tam that's tired, whoever we play will likely have had a massive physical game with one day less recovery time. I say stick with what we have, Cunderhill (that's for you @Which Tyler, have I managed to ruin your morning?) was phenomenal, talk of dropping half of it to the bench sounds crazy to me.
Never been a fan of going back and cherry picking posts to be like "HUR HUR YOU SHOULDVE KNOWN YOUD LOSE"

Every English fan on here predicted a NZ win too, why not quote those too?
In fairness it's not just predicting a win, we're talking about a guy who at half time when England were dominating was basically saying "you're ****, this'll be easy".

But I take your point. I've got loads of IRL Kiwi teammates I can save all my best gloats for this afternoon.

Outstanding by England, utter dominance over the All Blacks and should've probably been at least another score clear.

Quite shocked the All Blacks just couldn't find a way through but that Mitchell D is looking ominous... but hopefully we'll meet it head on in the final.

@The Alpha Bro, it's all good dude... men in green are men in green I guess ;)
