I don't think so for me, at least if I wore my ruggers shorts I wouldn't have to buy some gym shorts! Once I've built up my quads then maybe :lol: I'm starting on a few workouts and protein powders later this year, here's hoping!

Scrum caps and body armour; worth it or not? I can see the scrum caps serve a decent purpose (to stop cauli ear and to protect the brain) but do the cons outweigh the pros? Body armour: Do they do their job or do they just boost your confidence? Should I buy either of them?

I agree that coaches may worry that they put too much pressure on players, especially when they're coaching younger teams. I think they should definitely encourage the players, but not so much that they begin to dislike the game. I think that's one of the reasons I didn't enjoy Rugby at school...
