[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

I can't wait for tomorrow. Eight hours and twenty four minutes to go. I can't sleep and when I do I'll wake up just before kick off to chew my nails off. No dodgy decisions or cheating. Best team wins.

I think Japan's domestic league starts in Early January too so that ends the 6 nation's talks already. Their domestic season is more in line with SH fixtures.

Japan beat Wales because most of the Welsh were in the lions team. Fair play to Japan still. The points you raised with the time schedules is why I'm more in line with growing the game in the region. You mention tier 1 nations have a duty to help. Well Japan have a duty to those playing catch...

Yes. 100% My last comment was about growth in the region and Japan could be the model for nations like Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore to up there game and professionalism and start competitive rivalries where they share similar time zones, consumer products and all make money together. Japan...

I have to disagree regarding Argentina. They play attractive rugby but mid year and end of year tests they don't do well but I said previously they warranted joining a big league finishing 3rd at a world cup. The narrower defeats I'm guessing is because of the SR team and adapting their game...

Scotland is one of forefathers and France joined with an established growth of the game and both have won the 5 nations as it was back then. Italy joined and it did nothing. They may be in a better place with their pro 14 teams and I expect them to be more competitive over the next cycle. I...

I'm not being down on them. I hope their sucess grows the game as a whole. I hope the new club system you mentioned draws in local talent and other Asian players to boost the region. Id like Japan to be the benchmark for emerging nations in the region. Don't you think that would be better for...

Hardly pessimism. Why are you optimistic about a team who consistently don't win at least their home games ? What happens if Romania and Samoa qualify for the quarter finals of the 2023 world cup ? Should there be a debate they must be wedged in to another championship?

I saw a home series loss against Scotland in 2016 and a huge home spanking by Argentina. 2017 I saw a home series loss to Ireland and a 60 point spanking by Australia. 2018 was a home series draw with Italy and a surprising 28-0 win in Georgia. 2019 Japan were great in 2019. Ireland and...

No. I think 2019 has been a bubble.

I don't even want Georgia joining the 6 nation's either. http://stats.espnscrum.com/scrum/rugby/records/team/match_results.html? id=2019;team=23;type=year Japan's results every year. Their form since 2015 against tier 1 teams is poor and a lot more solid in 2019. I think world rugby should...

As much as I've enjoyed the Japan ride I believe their form is arterficial and they'll be on the end of spankings similar to Japan in the 6 nation's. Everything has been about this world cup for Japan. It's going to fizzle out a little bit by the next time they play.

I had a quick look at the rankings and geographically Hong Kong, Korea and the Philippines are closest to Japan. Hong Kong could end up doing a Japan and wanting to join a premier annual competition too? I don't think a participation in the 6 nations would benefit the 6 nation's.

Alright. I'll give you that 28-0. How about a different approach ? Give Asian rugby a push and use Japan as the standard to grow in that region for other nations to aspire to. Japan will get tier 1 summer tests and more than one EOYT. That could be three to seven tier 1 tests a year which is...

Do you think Japan could win in Georgia post world cup when the buzz has fizzled out a little ? I think Japan's rise is arterficial and they'll get hammered by England next July on tour.

    [RWC2019][Pool D] Round 2 - Australia vs. Wales (29/09/2019)

England V Australia WC QF it's looking like. Can't see Wales giving up 15 without scoring themselves in the next 40.

    [RWC2019][Pool D] Round 2 - Georgia vs. Uruguay (29/09/2019)

Or have home nations B teams competing in the Rugby Europe Cup? It would be mutual development still.

Fiji v Georgia was always going to be the 2023 WCQ in this group. I hope Uruguay hang on in there for the last 20.

    [RWC2019][Pool C] Round 1 - England vs. Tonga (22/09/2019)

The '95 world cup was my first and I felt England struggled and only had one good game against Australia (which was realistically just the first half ) Italy and Argentina could of beaten England and we wasn't that much better than Samoa. The semi final was a reality check and my first major...
