2013 European Nations Cup / Six Nations B

Romania - Georgia 6-6 at HT. Georgia looking strong, if they keep their composure they'll have no problem in winning the tournament.

ET Romania 9 - Georgia 9... The oaks pulled their fingers from the arse around mid game and played quite well... But poor decision making from Vlaicu, who missed an easy penalty and later denied the numeric advantage by taking an easy yellow for tackling without the ball... that's that... congrats Lelos for winning the tournament

Another game i survived.. still alive, there should be caps for fans too for all the nerve-crashing we have to go through. Good thing we won the championship. Although the final was postponed for next years fixture

not a bad result for us, i was expecting a better performance from Georgia. We could have won today with a bit more focus in the last 20 mins.

Anyway, World Cup seems close, i think that the results from this spring are a surpise for every Romanian fan, considering the experiences we had in the last years.

If we keep up the form next year, we might have a good World Cup in 2015.

Looking forward to this year's test matches.

Russia have beaten Belgium 43-32 in Sochi...big win for Russia getting maximum points and starting to get more secure in that crucial 3rd spot.

Russia (B ) 43-32 (B ) Belgium
Romania 9-9 Georgia
Spain 9-9 Portugal.

B = Bonus offensive / b = bonus defensive

Table

1. (1) Georgia 5 4 1 0 135/61 (+74) 1-0 19
2. (2) Romania 5 4 1 0 114/65 (+49) 1-0 19
----------------------------------------------
3. (3) Russia 5 3 0 2 110/116 (-6) 2-0 14

4. (4) Portugal 5 1 1 3 75/96 (-21) 0-1 7

6. (6) Spain 5 0 2 3 72/129 (-57) 0-1 5

Two 9-9 draws LOL, will be an interesting season next year....Romania and Georgia look in very good shape and Russia are starting to improve. Battle for avoiding relegation will be very intruiging as well.

Congratulations to Georgia for retaining the ENC ***le and the Antim Cup. I think the Oaks were slightly better yesterday, but the result in the end is fair.

I am quite happy overall with this ENC campaign. Romania has definitely improved, we seem to have a good core and younger players are slowly getting into the team. The steady development of the domestic league is producing more decent players for the national team. While the Oaks failed to win the ENC grand slam, we got as close as it gets.

The winners should be given chance to challenge the bottom team of 6 Nations. (Promotion/Relegation playoffs)
