Great for the game, but a bit late in my opinion.

They should have given Italy a finals this season or the next.

Also, San Siro would be awesome, but the fact the national team plays at Stadium Olympico also makes sense.

Finally. Been long deserved for a long time. Hopefully things don't go too commercial though, I wouldn't want to see a H Cup final in Hong Kong or Japan for example.

Not sure about deserved, interest in the HEC in Italy is on par with interest in any other rugby there - pretty pathetic. A big final won't be full of Italians as you'd bet your house there won't be an Italian side competing.

Be nice for the Irish bandwagon hoppers to have an Italian holiday though. I hear Rome is glorious in may.
