chiefs really need to win this to give them a chance at avoiding the trip to SA
will likely have to do it without Retalick, ALB & Cane
probably the last home game of the season/ever for some big names leaving.

I wonder why Dom Bird is unavailable for selection, must have been injured v the Lions. Good to see Nankivell getting the start, as he's impressed in his few showings. We're fairly lucky that the Brumbies are mailing this on in, having made mass changes to their lineup as well.

1. Kane Hames, 2. Nathan Harris , 3. Nepo Laulala , 4. Michael Allardice , 5. Mitchell Brown , 6. Liam Messam , 7. Lachlan Boshier , 8. Michael Leitch , 9. Tawera Kerr-Barlow , 10. Aaron Cruden (c) ,11. James Lowe , 12. Charlie Ngatai , 13. Alex Nankivell , 14. Solomon Alaimalo, 15. Damian McKenzie ,

Replacements : 16. Liam Polwart, 17. Aidan Ross , 18. Atu Moli , 19. Tom Sanders , 20. Mitchell Karpik , 21. Finlay Christie , 22. Stephen Donald , 23. Shaun Stevenson

yeah I've really liked what Ive seen from Nankivell as well. Solid prospect so far hes been solid with some nice touches, only like 21 years old.
I think Sam Mcnicol has been ruled out of the remainder of the season due to another head knock so midfield options are important. Hopefully Ngatai stays good too...

Locking looks a little light without Retalick and bird but it should be ok...

Sounds like the Brumbies are resting players for this game to focus in their home final.

What's with that NZ commentator and his pan handle for Damian Mac? If he thinks he should own the black 15 jersey, then just come out and say it. It rather got embarrassing. Dmac had a good game, but nothing we haven't become used to. Is size all that matters? Seems so.

Thought the brumbies looked the better side for long spells and got a few decisions that rather mounted up against them. Thought the score flattered the Chiefs in the end.
