The Parramatta players today attended the funeral of a six year old child who had supported the club and who had left a lasting impression on Natham Hindmarsh the Parramatta captain who was full of emotion at the funeral. Last week when the players knew he was close to death they wore special one off jumpers with his name on those jumpers. The little bloke lived to see their fightback against Manly only a week ago in that match and was aware that the players carried his name on those jumpers.

Hindmarsh it was reported visited the little bloke only hours before his death.
