Hello, so recently I suffered from a grade 2 AC joint seperation, it hurt like hell, but I believe I have been fully recovered for about 3-4 weeks now and I

can do everything that I used to.

However, I am seriously angry about the lump that is left on my shoulder, all I want to know is there anyway to decrease, eliminate or limit the size of the

lump. I have hope that there is because I read a thread on here with someone who suffered from a grade 3 AC joint disolocation and his lump is like 50% less

than mine. How the hell does that workout ? He said he used shoulder straps to keep the bone in place and push it down, it been about 10 weeks since the injury

so is it to late for that ?

Thanks for any help that is provided !

No idea as to the grade, but I've injured both my ACs, before there was nothing visible, now I have a small visible lump on one side. Don't think there's anything to be done, the ligament is just longer would be my guess. Without surgery to shorten it I don't see how you would reduce it.

As to the grade - a layman's guide:

If it doesn't hurt like ****ing crazy, to the point where you can barely move your arm, then it's probably grade 1 or 2.

If you recover in weeks rather than months, it's probably grade 1 or 2.
