I've met Adam personally and he's a great bloke can't do enough for the fans as far as pictures and signatures are concerned . Also after reading an article today about his departure from the ospreys he doesn't blame the management there and almost apologises about leaving in an open letter to the fans . I feel like he's been screwed by Lewis and his Stevie Wonder style of management of the WRU but only my opinion . Does anyone else have any stories about a really tidy bloke ?

Other then him having almost every LH in world rugbys pants down at some point ^^

Can't say I know any stories but he seems like a very down to Earth and genuine guy. I think it would be interesting to see him as a pundit (although that transition certainly doesn't work for many players very well).

Adam might have not helped his cause by looking into Bristol, but he wouldn't have been in that position had Lewis not made signing Welsh players an inconvenience.
I think the players have voted in numbers where their trust is, one central contract is all the WRU have.

Anyways, yeah, Adam seems like a good guy. Never been in limelight, and done an exemplary job for Wales. It's a shame some don't actually watch his performances, and choose to rehash the 2003 vintage 'lazy' comments after each match...

Of course he is one of the nicest people in rugby. He is front row!

Front row are the best people, everyone else is just there for support.

he can't be "the nicest man in Rugby", as I've seen him do dirty little things on the pitch. I've said this before, but I've seen him sarcastically pat opposing forward on the head or on the shoulder, like, "don't worry little baby everything will be alright". I've also seen him vexed after scrums when he got penalized and look quite agitated against ref+opposing LH.

I've seen some props just go about their business and never stop and do that kind of thing, so de facto, Adam Jones may be a very nice guy and I like him but he's not "the nicest man in Rugby". I think his huge puppy/teddy bear physique also might be slightly misleading, not that he's really aggressive or anything, but he's not *that* nice.
The nicest man is Sébastien Chabal, but I may be biased.

Chabal is actually a really great guy.
When he was at Sale he always had time for the fans pre/post game and did a ton of community work/coaching.

Anyway, the point is moot:
Dave Seymour is the nicest man in rugby.

For one of the most successful and competitive men in rugby Joe Schmidt is such a nice honest guy. As for Leinster players Sean O'Brien and Sean Cronin come across as the nicest in my opinion but I've never actually met them in person. I met Rob Kearney in Faro Airport in 2009 and My dad and I had a chat with him and he was very nice and had a lot of time for us but then you hear stories of some of his other exploits!

His agent had a factor ...

well he's a good looking lad, not sure him sowing his oats makes him unpleasant/horrible though.

I didn't say horrible, just not the nicest man in rugby. I like him far more than the likes of Heaslip or even Sexton for example. But it's that sort of behavior that easily pushes a number of people the wrong way.

fair enough mate, i don't know him or the people around him... always comes across as a decent fella in the press/interviews etc...

get your point about Heaslip and Sexton though.

Jack McGrath is a really great guy, remembers names and faces and can have a bit of banter. Helped out in coaching us this year and for a guy who was playing international rugby his committment was incredible. He'd turn up at least once a week usually on his off day. Even in camp he'd do his best to get up.

John Fogarty is also one of the nicest most genuine people I've met.
