Advert pop up in app

Over the past day or so the same advert (Canterbury, "committed to rugby" advert) keeps popping up about every 30 seconds whilst using the app. I've tried shutting down the app and starting it again multiple times, but it keeps on happening. Any advice as to how to stop it?

I've not noticed anything like that on android.
