I am a researcher working on a series of documentaries to be released in the run up to next years Rugby World Cup. We are making a programme on all of the countries that will compete in the tournament.
Each of the episodes will be structured around Rugby culture in each of the countries and will focus on both amateur and professional teams. Essentially each episode will feature individuals and teams who do something interesting and different in relation to Rugby, examples of this would be-
-A team who train with lifeguards in New Zealand
-A team from Fiji who take part in fire walking as a bonding exercise
-A motivational speaker from Australia who uses martial arts training to inspire and infuse teams.
-Teams taking part in charity events such as marathons.
-Tour/Match stories from fans
- Events such as beach rugby/underwater rugby
I am looking for interesting/humorous/inspiring stories relating to Rugby from-
