Anyone remember any rumours about McCaw moving overseas?

I need a reference or two for an essay I'm writing, but I can't remember any specific instances of clubs targeting McCaw?

AFAIK there has never need a substantial rumour of McCaw moving to an overseas club

Aside from the fact that he is probably too old now, and that he is contracted to NZ rugby until 2015, he also has considerable business interests in NZ.

Hmm yes I was worried that's the case. He's always been pretty vocal about not wanting to head overseas, so I suppose clubs don't waste their time targeting him.

I remember after we signed Marty Holah and Jerry Collins, there was talk amongst Ospreys fans that once they left us Richie McCaw MUST be next.
