He did pick him up and that is enough.....pretty harmless but a lift is a lift!

The thing is the refs always use the phrase beyond the horizontal and it was used there but it really wasn't or at least not until a few inches above the ground which any hard tackle above the waist will have.

No....I understand that if you lift the legs above the horizontal it is yellow and if he goes down on his head/shoulders, a red comes into play!

I'm pretty sure legs above the horizontal is ok as long as the descent is controlled.

He didn't dump, didn't drop and didn't drive him into the ground.

Ashton's attempt to 'smash' Monye then, proof he still can't tackle.

Lovely lovelly stuff Quins, you beauties.

Well this isn't going how I thought it would.

Edit: That was impressive with 13

Quins made hard work on that try considering the numbers!

Great to see Monye get a try, been a great servant to the club, still a very classy player.

Agreed. Really nice guy too.

Quins can't loose focus and defend like that and expect to win. Need to get back into the game after this conversion.

What was happening with Ashton at half-time then? Looked like he was surrounded by Quins and then looked like it was kicking off again a bit.

He does get agitated quickly. Last week against Bath for example.

He is only 21....look at Mike Brown for example over the years (and even recently), he is always getting agitated but it is part of his make up! Sinckler will mature and learn from his betters over the next 15 years that he could be playing.....

Just caught the end of that. What happened?

From what I saw at half time:
Ashton shouted for Strettle to run into Evans after he'd kicked it, Quins players were basically saying how stupid that was - as they walked off the pitch there was some back and forth, bit of shoving, Farrell and Care getting involved with everyone, then the Sarries bench starts getting involved too (which, to be honest, is a bigger problem in my eyes than anything else. The actual "incident" was nothing, but players on the bench can't come and intervene.)

Yeah of course. But it can still make him a liability.

I think Brown should tone it down as well.

Farrell looks distinctly non plussed. Quins need to use this scrum to get some possession and put Sarries back on the defensive.

I really don't want Quins to win. Don't know what it is but something about them today I'm finding really annoying.

Sarries need to start looking for the corners rather than Bosch taking pot shots from distance.....yes he can get them but he misses many, many more!!
