Didn't realise Hartley was back today. Not nots really trying to rattle him, everytime he's near a ruck they send someone flying into him, then give him a pat on the head on the floor afterwards.

They were talking about it pre-game, there's very little change to the side that played so well last season but this season they just can't get going.

Honestly watching them today looks like Warrenball. Not a bad technique but they need the forward dominance to pull it off and Irish seem to be taking them on inch for inch (except in the lineout).

Francis looks like he's been eating too much everything, not seen an international rugby player in that bad shape in a long time.
Before people used to say that it helped him in the scrum, but he's getting dismantled by Harrison who must be a good 4 stone lighter.

I think the fact the tackler went off his feet showed he wasn't bringing the player down safely. Disagree with the being brought down on the shoulder though.

Cipriani is having an excellent game,
Considering how insanely windy it is in Exeter (some of the slowmo shots of passes/kicks showing how much the ball is moving is crazy) he's hit all his kicks, he's making his tackles (including a trackback trysaver on a forward, and has brought down Waldrom as well) and his passing is just quality. The dummy then pass for Beaumont's try was top notch.

Why didn't Saints have Brookes in the 23? Injured or just arrogant?
