Big news. The SRU hauling itself out of debt is unbelievably important for rugby in the northern hemisphere. This kind of deal puts them very much on the right track. Hopefully this means more funding for Glasgow and Edinburgh.

I can't see sky being too happy about it though.

Good news. The SRU are slowing getting their asses in gear and moving into the professional era.

Will they fund the regions to a greater extent, invest in developing the sport, look to create a 3rd region as has been mooted or do something else? Does this mean there's be even more money in the kitty for Edinbokke to plunder SA playing resources?

yes i like this the money could be used to make a 3rd team which is heading the right way for scottish rugby
