If a team is near the goaline, can a forward pick the ball off the ruck and go straight for the line just like in real games?

From a scrummie or a rucky?

Not sure on this one, hope you can but i doubt you can somehow. Never know, it could be a set play in the full game

I'm sure there is a forward picking up from the base of the scrum in one of the videos.

i'm sure they would pick 'n' go, but the only worry is if it is effective. in rugby 2001 it was pointless to pick 'n' go, same as wcr. if there is a pick 'n' go there should be enough support and make it effective

on the other hand, if the pick 'n' go is advertised, the defense should be able to counter and may be even turn over possession.....now that would be awesome!

2004 was crap because it only alowed the halfback to do it or the fly half if the halkf back was involved in a ruck. Crap! what if they were both in the tackle! lol
<

2005 should have that option as THEY of ally ppl MUST know how crappy they did with 2004
