Really, not watching this one but got the score update, appreciate there is a difference in class and Canada are amongst the contenders but still 25 - 0 before half time doesn’t seem like a huge improvement, especially if they tire in the last 20.

It was 0-0 when I posted, Wales started really promisingly but couldn’t score, and it felt like their heads dropped a bit once Canada did.

Yet again TMO jumps in, but fails to mention Canada No8 pushing Wales No9 face into the ground ! so yet again a TMO thinking he is God and ignores Canada foul play, the standard of officials & TMO is dire in this World cup, the women deserve much better.

That sums up the officials, takes 10 mins to say "High degree of danger, but mitigation !" What mitigation, she used no arms, hit her high, player never reduced her height in the tackle ? Where is the mitigation ? Ref should have called it on pitch, she has all the evidence so no reason not to call it ! Need to stop this off field calls, refs now not making calls and passing it to off field calls

Well done Canada, feel sorry for the Welsh girls, didn't have the ref or TMO on their side, too many officials favouring the higher ranked teams in all matches so far, need to stop this off field calling for yellow or red cards, Refs have all the coverage that off field guys have, so your in charge call it.

Very pissed off, and seemed completely pointless against someone who can't even defend herself, and then goes back to point a finger at her face afterwards.

Have to assume Bevn was being a scrum half and wound her up at some point, but the foul play was clear and ovvrto the cameras (as was the high tackle that saw yellow that they actually reviewed)

It was the error on error for Canada's 3rd and 4th around 20-off minutes that it became one-way traffic

Again - assuming you're talking about the same incident I've just seen...
Ref is in absolute perfect position. If she can see that the ball isn't grounded, then why review. If she's no unsure, and is positioned that well, you have to take her word for it.

She's significantly less biased than you.

Passive tackle. Did use arms.
We don't have to like it, but that's not been a redd card since approximately week 2 of RWC23

Yeap No8 was miffed cause from the lineout she was tackled by No9 who shouted "I've got you girl" typical scrummy sledging, but TMO was sadly missing in action for Wales, and for the try, she got it down, but ref was otherside of the pile up ! Why no review ? officials have come down on the side of the highest ranking team in every game so far

Ref is in absolute perfect position. If she can see that the ball isn't grounded, then why review. If she's no unsure, and is positioned that well, you have to take her word for it.

I'm South African, so not biased towards either team mate, reviewed it in slow mo and she grounded it when she landed, Canada player then grabbed the ball, the ref wasn't there to see it, if Wales player thought she scored, it should be reviewed, Ref saw events after the fact
