Champions Cup 24/25 - Saturday, 24 May

Yes he is better. But we have people already referencing injuries being a factor for Northampton. They are a factor for every team.

The big loss was Augustus. They needed a heavy carrier.

This is a good Saints team but not great. The better side won.
I don't think anyone is arguing that, just your assumption that there should have been a 50 point margin in the game.

How many tries did UBB butcher at the literal white line? 3. This game was close because UBB did everything except place the ball on the line.

If I was a Saints fan I'd be aggrieved by the refs second half performance. The only time he gave them anything was when the TMO interjected to overturn his original decision.
I saw three very obvious neck roles two when saints were attacking and the other before BB last try...very poor.
People going on about how BB were the better team. It's hard to tell as they had so much field possession due to ref giving pens !

That'll teach Saints to beat the only club in Ireland or the UK who can stay within a score of a top French side.

- Yours truly, a non bitter Leinster fan.

Bordeaux kept Saints gamebreakers out the game very well and Saints had a few too many mistakes from their front 5 (Alex Mitchell threw away a couple golden opps too). Good game but the better team won. Shame the prem is a joke and Saints won't be able to keep this unit, it'd be great to watch them develop.

He was good. Him and the TMO got the big calls right and he was consistent.

Rugby fans and moaning about the ref is getting tiresome.

Every team didn't have it though did they, that's so factually incorrect it's unreal, they do at times but not every final, UBB put out the same squad they had for their semi, saints were already missing a couple before the game then lost two early on just from an energy pov let alone quality of player that makes a huge difference.

Your posts are kinda tiresome TBF, they are virtually transparent in terms of of what you are trying to get at 🙄

Ref was crap, as he was in the six nations. An international ref should not on multiple occasions have to have the TMO mid play overule him as he has made an obvious wrong call

Picking up on your other nonsense re Injuries, if we apply your logic what is Toulouse excuse for their form dropping ?

Sports fans in general.
Europeans are significantly worse than Americans.

There is a culture of "having a moan" in the UK. In America, negative people are ostracized. It's looked down upon to not show optimism.

That's why Americans are seen as "fake" by Europeans because we can smile so much and be cheery.

If you want to see poor referring, turn on a URC game and watch Mike Adamson work his magic.

If Nika is crap, who is good?

Bringing nationality into it? You use to be a decent poster. Now you come out with some absolute tripe.

I live in North America and I'm on North American message boards with plenty of yanks. The complaints about refs is just as much as it in on these boards if not more so.

Most of the game talk is complaining about the refs missing decisions, getting decisions wrong etc.

Oh shut up

Pearce and Gardner are a step up from him. Before them Barnes and Owens

None perfect, but I have never seen the TMO overturn their original decisions on multiple occasions mid play.
