Clive Woodward's excellent plan to save rugby

It's a very interesting read, i'm still not quite sure how the lions aspect would work but apart from that i kind of agree with the rest of the points

re the lions, those countries just wouldn't fill stadiums for a three test series, maybe the need to add a couple of games, so when they come to NZ they always play a game in canada and a game in one f the PI's. and then when they go to Aus they plays a game in the US and a game in one of the other PI's and finally when they tour RSA they plays two games in SA

dont agree with his one nation for life stance but do agree that even nations should be subject to relegation

When touring SA, there should be a fame against East Africa as well as a game v Namibia and Zimbabwe.
Assuming a 7 week tour!!!
3 x tests
3 x internationals
5 x SR teams
I know 7 weeks would never go ahead. But if WR combined the summer and Autumn tours into 1 group, then the could do it.
