A win’s a win but a dead rubber and a large dollop of ‘so what’.

But many more tests like we’ve seen this series and the format will be dead.

From the sound bites I've read it seems like nothing is going to change. McCullum just saying England need to improve, but won't be told what to do. Rob Key staying in place too.

Ben Duckett “Hold my pint….. seriously, hold my pint. It’s one I saved from the other night… I’ll be back to finish it off in a minute”

Actually Harry, not you. I don’t want it spilt while you’re having a barney with a bouncer (big muscly bloke, not head high delivery).

So 4-1. And could easily have been 5-0. Showed a little bit of fight after the series had gone, but it was a largely low calibre series all round and generally pretty feeble from England.

It’s one thing not being good enough. It’s another failing to prepare and then playing dumbly. And picking players with lousy fitness records invariably comes back to bite - Wood, Archer and Stokes himself.

The leadership of the team has to be under scrutiny.

playing dumbly.
This. This is the main thing that boils my ****. I can understand if you're simply not good enough and the opposition is better, but at least make them get you out.

You're under the pump, your top order have whimpered out again and you try and reverse sweep a ball that's on your wickets and get castled. Not a good look in my book.
