I had him as Newcastle's #1 target, but just delighted he's returning to the Prem
I just don't see Falcons being the biggest draw until they start getting their full coaching team in place.

100%. Don’t love the destination but very pleased he’ll be available for England. Obviously he needs to earn his place, but he’s a classy player who should slot straight back in.

So I guess he’s not yet signed on the dotted?

And well done to Tigers for holding their ground. He’s an excellent player, but he’s not provided value for money for them recently and isn’t in a position of strength to negotiate. No fault, just the way it is. If it is all about cash (is it?) wonder if he didn’t really want to leave, but accidentally backed himself into a bit of a corner.

I noticed, when he was posting congratulation messages, that there's a Currie Cup winger called Cheslin Arendse - you need to be a bit more subtle with your cloning attempts
But - as anyone who watched Manu Vunipola knows, you don't always get what you want out o the technique
