This also comes with the news that the Pirates would not be promoted if they were to win the Championship this season... The RFU have turned down the offer from Plymouth Argyle to share Home Park...

League postition doesn't really matter a massive amount, considering the huge playoff system in place
Obviously finishing higher does put you in better stead, but you could finish way down the table and still win the whole thing
Ridiculous decision, they should have said yes: until your new stadium is finished.
Not as if there aren't other teams ground sharing with football teams (London Irish/Reading, Wasps/Wycombe Wanderers, Saracens/Watford - kind of Sale, but EP was a rugby ground before football, and Sale technically bought the ground from Stockport)
