How many people here will be happy if the Crusaders don't make the Super 14 playoffs?

I for one will be ecstatic as I believe their long term dominance has hurt the competition significantly

Yeah, I agree. I actually like the Crusaders and have a lot of respect for them for the way they play. However, you can't have one team dominating the competition. Competitions are more interesting if a lot of teams have a chance of winning. The Super 14 really has a problem with the same teams at the top and at the bottom every year.

If they do make the play-offs this year you must admit they did well, considering how many players left the club etc.

Totally agree, the crusaders dominance has definitely been a negative in my opinion. I’d be more than happy to see a more even comp and see the crusaders out of the action.

I don't think it has been a negative. They have been the best team every time they won, and thoroughly deserved their victories. It is nice from a non-supporter's perspective to have another possible outcome this year, but i firmly believe that the best team should win. The Crusaders have been the best for ages, and now it seems the playing field is evened out a bit. Still, i want a South African team to win again. It's just so damn satisfying...

As long as the Saffas or Tahs don't win it I am totally fine with who wins.

The Saders have been the best team for so many years, it is not their fault the other franchises haven't lifted their game during that period.

Well naturally as a Hurricanes supporter the Crusaders not making the finals would be a good thing for me.

Agreed. While it's not their fault, its been a case of the stronger get stronger and the weak get weaker. Look at the Reds and Bulls (before 2007), those two teams have been **** for years and the Reds still haven't left the bottom of the table.

Reds fans aren't going to put it up for any longer. I still don't know how they can attract 20,000 each week with the good chance we will get thrashed. How many Crusaders fans after last years super 14 win actually gave a **** after winning it for the 7th time?

I'll be over the moon. Of all the teams in the Super 14, the Crusaders, and maybe the Bulls, are the team I dislike the most. They've been the Hurricanes' downfall for so long, it'd be nice to see them miss out for once. Beating them at home and them missing the finals would almost be the perfect year. The only thing missing would be the Hurricanes taking out the Super 14.

I love the crusaders, been a fan since the comp started, of course I am from Christchurch and now live in Wellington so I like giving a bit of stick to the Hurricanes supporters up here. Ill always be a crusaders fan, i bleed red and black (wtf is with the grey alternate strip its ugly) so i am happy we have made it into the semis again. Just shows how good the competition was this year and how close it was having the last game of the last week decide who the top 4 were going to be so i dont think it makes it boring that they made it.

Now its semi final time, its a different competition now. knock out time. For me, i would love the Hurricanes and the Crusaders to win, then I can go to the Final here at the cake tin and go for the crusaders again. They beat the Bulls earlier in the competition and they also bet the Chiefs. That leaving the Hurricanes to be the only team to beat them that are in the top 4. Its going to be an interesting weekend and I cant wait for it to start (and its only monday damn!!)
