Who would have thought halfway through the Super 15, the top three teams would be the Brumbies, Blues and the Cheetahs? How has the super 15 been for all of you guys? It's definitely been the weirdest Super season that I've seen. TMO's have played such a big roll in a few games and I think it's safe to say that every time lacks consistency.

Kinda feel like the Stormers deserve to be just a tad higher on the table. They might only have three wins this season, but they were over the Chiefs, Brumbies and Sharks.

The Brumbies as the Australian conference leader was as I predicted. I have perhaps underestimated the Reds a little - QC is playing better than I thought he would - but it's easier to predict the conference leader when all but two of the teams are pretty much out of the race.

I didn't think the Blues would improve enough to lead the conference, and they're not playing that much better than I thought they would - it's just that the other teams are playing worse than I thought.

The Cheetahs aren't leading the conference now, but I certainly didn't expect them to do so well, or the Sharks and the Stormers to do so poorly.

I had picked the Brumbies to be up there, but certainly not the Blues or Cheetahs. The NZ conference has been horrible so far, and as for the Stormers, they haven't done that badly, considering the teams that they have played... Crusaders, Chiefs, Brumbies, Bulls and Sharks x2 is far from an ideal start to the competition, so I think that they can recover. That being said, they are yet to tour Australasia...

If we take away the stupid 4 points for a buy this is exactly where we stand.There really is no need for them. At the end of the season all teams will have received eight of those, and only Highlanders fans will be thankful. Every sportsfan in the world looks at a table and compares points won to number of games played, and knows that a game short is a chance to catch up. Why do we have to throw a spanner in the works with our flagship tournament? Aren't points there to be earned?

We must also remember that the Aussie teams started a week earlier than the other teams. so they have had an advantage of getting their teams to work together quicker, they have had their byes, and their derbies aren't as tough as the other 2 conferences.

The Brumbies and Cheetahs however has done some exciting and amazing stuff this year.

I just wonder if they can keep up, as the injuries are now starting to show and this is where depth will be a big turning point.
