Awesome kick that by Carter. As for the rest of the thread. Steyn has a lot of distance but his goal kicking in general is average, he miss a lot of easy kicks, you sometimes get the idea he's better with the long range ones. Carter is a great kicker who also has a lot of distance, I remember that one game where he kicked a 61m penalty it was sick. That said Carter sometimes have a bad day, last year he was absolutely shocking with his goal kicking percentage ranging in the high sixties. Also pathetic with drop goals, they get charged down most of the times. Jonny Wilkinson is a great goal kicker. Can put them over from about 50m out. Kicked really badly in the world cup, but kicked all 14 out of 14 in this year's Guinness Premiership matches he played. Was disappointed with his kicking distance out of hand in the world cup, but he did have an injury but it didn't really improve in the Premiership. Matt Giteau doesn't have a lot of distance he can probably on a good day get one from 45m out but generally suffers with longer range kicks. His goal kicking overall ranges from good to really bad and he's very inconsistent. Stephen Brett doesn't have distance and he's generally just bad at goal kicking. Henson has a pretty big boot on him as well, but he can also be very inconsistent with his goal kicking.
