I cannot begin to describe the level of cringe i feel. For so many reasons. I could understand and even maybe look the other way at a slight verbal complaint about Curry. That would be over the top but still a "tactical" move. But calling him a bully? Saying he slapped you too hard on the chest? Jesus Christ.
Unpopular opinion: You feel someone disrespects you or pushed you too hard on the chest? You truly see it that way? Then for the love of god, lay the smack back on him and say nothing, absolutely nothing about it. If questioned later about it, make a joke: "you journos don't understand. We were just trying out a new handshake. Nothing to see here."
And the responses he got. Everyone in Arg is backing him 10000%. It's as if we've entered this confirmation bias cesspool from which it is generally impossible to get out.
There are people who, after watching Kremer's video on Ford, go to ludicrous lengths to justify the differences. Kremer's push is a very solid comparison imo. If i were English, i'd argue endlessly that it is arguably worse as there is absolutely no attempt to wrap whatsoever. And sure, one was a kick and the other one was a pass, and that changes things. But we should never put that on the defender. The ball carrier has a choice (kick, pass, run) and the consequences of it should lie on him. (in case it's not clear, as any full back will know, getting tackled like that is generally more dangerous after a kick as you dont have both feet on the ground and your position tends to leave you more exposed. Generalizing i know, but that's a fair stereotype).
