Yeah, I'd have Blamire in the equation - LCD and George are comfortably the two in the first choice 23 but you always need a third choice, especially this autumn which could well have some rotation in for the Lions guys (depending how much rugby they play over the summer). I've always been a champion for Langdon - but realistically that's been championing him to be a rotation option for Sale. Go back to the start of the season and I'd have never guessed he'd have an England start under his belt. Don't get me wrong, I'm over the moon for him - but he's very much in the solid and dependable role, could well mature into a real force as a well rounded player, but at this stage doesn't have the X-Factor that Blamire does. EJ's refusal to give Robson a fair crack is one of the biggest black marks on his tenure, imo - Randall was good this summer, don't get me wrong, but I thought Robson looked better off the bench. I know he's not going to get a crack, and I'm more than happy to see Randall in the mix, but it's just a massive shame a player as good as Robson is unlikely to ever get an international start. No arguments with the rest of @Scotty 's list Dombrandt I'd just throw straight in as a starter, Binny's looked crap for literally years and there's no other options in the EPS that he has to surpass Randall could well start but realistically he'll take Robson's bench spot behind Youngs, Radwan I'd bring through as May's successor - left winger with real pace, he's tailor made for it. Can't remember our schedule for the autumn but I'd hope he'd get a start or two, and then go from there into the 6N Hard to know what EJ will do with Smith - he's only ever looked at Farrell and Ford so who knows what he does with three flyhalves. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ford drop out - Farrell is definitely one of the first names on EJ's team list, Ford at 10 seems to happen when there's a gap at 12 that Farrell has to fill more than anything. Steward I'd bring through slowly, just because of his age. IMO he's already a better fullback than Daly has ever looked, but he's only 20 and you don't want to risk his development by rushing it. So happy he had a good summer, though - exactly what we need at 15. Would put him on a similar development schedule to Radwan. Couple of games in the autumn then re-assess squad roles going into the 6N.
