England vs New Zealand - 15/11/2025

I'm not sure if I like the Dogs or not I think if your static and struggling fine but if your making ground it seems a bit defeatist.
2 in quick succession will affect the AB's psychologically, and they will change how they go about defending in their own half.

Also, we were asking Ford to try something different, seems churlish to complain when he then tries something different, and both scores 6 points, and changes AB tactics

Still have that feeling the Kiwis could cut loose defence is creaky.

I suppose after 2 years I kind of expect a more settled team and identity. Musical chairs in the coaching set up won't have helped.

Marcus has done a lot of good. IFW sometimes needs to use his pace and size to manipulate to make space for a pop ball to a tracking player.
Support running is something that just isn't clicking for England in this game or previous ones. Partly on the carriers, partly on the support runners; when it comes off England look dangerous, but it's a third of the chances that it should be.

Ford redeeming himself for the kick off out on the full with a couple of nice DG’s.

With only 1 point in it, our bench gives me a bit of optimism for the second half.

Probably flying under the radar ATM, but Baxter and Heyes have been very good again. The scrum has looked solid and they’ve both been solid in defence and around the park.

I tend to agree on some fronts but why the hell he kicked that first 22 entry without advantage still boggles, I said I’m not sure if I like it or not it was a fairly balanced on the fence statement, wouldn’t call it complaining.

Yep. Blackett will hopefully solve that in time. I feel like we're 5-10% off of being very dangerous.

Yeah and most of the time it’s at critical moments, they are offloading and getting up the field with some offloads pretty well it’s just once they have broken the line it goes wayward.

Buggered if I know - absolutely terrible decision.
Can only think it's either gameplan (Borthwick's fault), or he thought we had advantage, because even if he'd executed well (he didn't) it was what? 33:67 in NZ's favour to field it.
