This is genuinely good news, though I don't really know how much of it will be respected...the whole reason I criticize English Rugby - as probably anyone who criticizes English Rugby - is they'll focus on all the 'little things', and yes, I know, defense isn't a "little thing" but hopefully you get what that means.
Sure enough, England has always won matches though...because they've focused everything on defense, kicking, the scrum etc...but it almost struck me this summer, during those 3 tests, with some of the substitutes in the backs; I felt like "hey why the hell doesn't England play England ball AND manage/implement some of that good attacking ?!"
Well obviously with each foe, a different story, different focuses and points of emphasis...
But it's nice to at least entertain the idea...and it's good to read.
