Draw took place in Warsaw today, thankfully not a drawn out affair, merely putting the teams in the groups in the order which they came out, not like the champions league where they draw the team, the pool they're to go into and the position they're to take in the group. Anyway some interesting groups, probably premature considering there's a world cup to come in the Summer but good to know who we're facing afterwards. EURO 2012 QUALIFYING GROUPS Group A: Germany, Turkey, Austria, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan Group B: Russia, Slovakia, Republic of Ireland, FYR Macedonia, Armenia, Andorra Group C: Italy, Serbia, Northern Ireland, Slovenia, Estonia, Faroe Islands Group D: France, Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belarus, Albania, Luxembourg Group E: Holland, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Moldova, San Marino Group F: Croatia, Greece, Israel, Latvia, Georgia, Malta Group G: England, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Wales, Montenegro Group H: Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Cyprus, Iceland Group I: Spain, Czech Republic, Scotland, Lithuania, Liechtenstein Reasonable draw for Ireland, will be easier as well if Hiddink moves on. Not the best of draws though for the home nations, Northern Ireland will do well to even come third in their group, same applies for Scotland. Wales won't be too thrilled either, neither will England considering the groups they could have got, all teams are capable of taking points off them, never something you want especially from the lowest ranked side. At least there's a best runner-up spot available this time round.
