"F--- You, Les Bleu!"

It's fair enough in case the players get injured, but silly as well because they could get into even better form whilst playing for their clubs.

Even the Irish replacements are relased back to their clubs, surely the French should be doing the same especially for players who didn't even come off the bench.

When the clubs signed the agrement with the FFR they knew this could happen. Case of eatin your cake and all that...

It's the exact reason why test matches should not be scheduled at the same time as league matches. There's nothing more infuriating then having one (or more) of your best players taken for international duty, especially when all they do is sit around on the bench (or worse) all weekend.

Ya, one thing at the time.
One eat his meal and then his dessert. Not from one to the other simultaniously.
Season and then tournement. Since winter is not a problem in Europe.

As it has been said, it's in the agreement beetween the FFR and clubs, but I think it is the first time (in recent times) that's it's applied by the federation, and surely because of the numerous injuried players already not available at the beginning of the 6N.

Lievremont to preserve the entity of the 23s group as not many spares available if new injuries, cautious only, not the desire to maintain a high physical status IMO.

Seems that the rule as not been respected or applied whatever, as Michalak out after been injuried in the match Paris-Toulouse (0-29 !!!).

Strangely, Askell was didn't play as not liberated by the England staff (more diplatic way, was told "if you leave to France this week-end, you're fired from the national selection...").
F...k you Les Roosbeef ??
