First home defeat for Pirates

Cornish Pirates have this season not lost at home and is the only team who have beaten Worcester Warriors. Worcester took a 7 point lead 20 minutes in to the first half, but the rest of the first half was all about Pirates. Warriors had the chance to score points, but fumbled it away with poor passing. The Pirates had a 25-7 lead at the end of the first half after outplaying Worcester.

Second half started much better for Worcester, and they took the lead. But Pirates had a comeback at the end of the match, but that was`nt enough. Warriors won 30-33 at Mennaye Stadium.

If Cook had scored on one of the two penalties the Pirates had in the second half, the end result could have been a draw.

Pirates played well first half, didn't see all the second but surprised to see that Wuss won. We won too, a thoroughly heroic defensive effort allowed us to beat London Welsh 23-6.
