For the Springboks, how far do you realistically think they’ll go in the RWC?

We have a solid defense. We maybe don't have the 5 players that are considered top in their position in the world but I believe we make up for it in depth in quality, no real weaknesses and though none of our players are a shoe in for a world XV all of our players are not far off the pace. We have a bench that is arguably better or at least more impactful than our starters (don't know if any of the other big 5 can claim the same) and I can't seem to get that "every 12 years" out of my head: 1987 and 1991 we weren't there, 1995 we took it. 1999 and 2003 we dropped the ball but found it again 2007. 2011 and 2015 weren't bad but we fell short. 2019..

[QUOTE="TRF_stormer2010, post: 956754, member: 39190"] I have got my heart set on a Bok ***le. I don't think we are favorites by any means and even a QF exit is as likely as getting to the final but that said I do believe there are enough positive indicators for us to go into this RWC with at least as much confidence as any other of the 'current top 5' teams. Only a month ago I thought that this RWC is a year early for us but I have changed my mind in the meantime. Yes, the squad is younger and less experienced than what has been the norm for the winner but its not far off and I believe our strengths are what you need to go far in a knock out tournament. 2019..
